Thinking of spring family photos? If you’re wondering if its a good time of year to update your families pictures, I assure you it is and I will share three reasons you should book yours today.
Fall gets all the glory when it comes to the best time for family photos and it is beautiful time of year, however, the signs of early spring are so exciting! The colors are phenomenal and blooms are absolutely gorgeous. Everything feels new again, a fresh start, and more sunny days.
After a long dreary winter in Vancouver Washington, the first signs of spring are so exciting. The daffodils bright yellow petals shouting from the gloomy cold ground bring life back into the landscape. My absolute favorite is the cherry blossoms! The cherry blossoms are life to my seasonal depression soul! #pnwwinter
Foliage is lush again and bursting with color. It is a beautiful backdrop that your family or your lovely baby bump will look spectacular in. I imagine the photo above in a wrapped canvas over the mantle or displayed over the couch in their living room.
Late March to early May, depending on the location, is the best time of year for springtime photos. Upon booking, I have many location recommendations for spring shoots, there are many options. This family was photographed in Brush Prairie Washington in early May.
The days are getting longer, sunnier, and a bit warmer. Let’s be real, when it’s fifty degrees in March in the pacific northwest we see a lot of pasty legs starting to emerge from those dusty shorts that have been hibernating in closets all winter. #guilty
It’s feels good to get outdoors after the long winter, play with your kids in the fresh foliage, and enjoy family time outdoors. It’s a fun experience that you will want to do again the next year. Your kids will thoroughly enjoy themselves.
I have lived in Washington state my entire life. Between the months of April and October are my absolute favorite because of its jaw dropping beauty. There is truly no other place I would rather be, if you agree, consider a spring time photo shoot.
From wildflowers in the Columbia River Gorge to local spots in Vancouver and Portland Oregon that show off some incredible blooms, like the cherry blossoms around the downtown areas. Furthermore, the northwest is a unique and beautiful place with so many phenomenal locations to choose from.
If so, contact me today and I cannot wait to work with you. My photo shoots are fun, welcoming, and laid back. Your kids are encouraged to play, move, and interact with family members. In addition, parents are allowed to be the cool parents that day and just be in the moment with your kids while I photograph you in a gorgeous PNW location.
