Does adventure family photoshoots require hiking?
No, most locations are just a short walk from the road or parking lot. I have many beautiful locations that l have spent years scouting. The adventure is exploring the area + being present with your family.
What should we wear for our family photos?
Think coordinated, not matching. Neutrals and earthy tones look beautiful in Portland’s scenery. I’ll send you a style + session guide to make it easy. Get my style guide here!
What if my kids won't cooperate?
I don't expect kids to "behave" during your session. I encourage running, playing, laughing, and getting genuine smiles from everyone. I never ask your kids to do anything they don't feel comfortable doing.
When should we have our family photos taken?
I photograph families year-round, so we’ll pick a date that fits your vibe and schedule.
What if it's raining the day of our photo shoot?
We will reschedule at your convenience, typically a day later or within a few weeks.
What if we have to reschedule our family photo shoot?
If you or your kids are sick, I would much rather photograph you when you are all feeling great! Rescheduling is ok if someone is sick or an emergency arises.
How many years of experience do you have working with families?
I have had a camera in my hand most of my life, and I have been in business for over 7 years.
How long are your family photos shoots?
About an hour for immediate family and extended family sessions. They go quickly, most of the session is just exploring with your family in a stunning Portland location!
