Baby Leads the Session

Letting your newborn sleep, cry, feed, change diapers, or whatever else they need during your session is key to a relaxed newborn session experience. Having a new baby can come with many emotions, fatigue, and so much joy. I love that lifestyle photography embraces all of that!

Perfectly Unposed

Lifestyle newborn sessions allow your little one to be as they are. Letting baby sleep in a natural position on mom or dads chest or laying baby on your bed and letting them nap peacefully as I capture the little details that are so precious, such as those little lashes! I actually very rarely even touch your baby. I love to snuggle them but I know baby is happiest with mom or dad. I do swaddle and soothe babies if mom and dad are ok with that. Sometimes they need a little extra shooshing. 😉

In the Comfort of your Home

Commonly, lifestyle newborn sessions take place in the comfort of your own home. The babies room, your master bedroom, or living room can be used to take photos. As long as there is enough natural light a room can be used to take some incredibly unique and special photographs into your session. Being in the comfort of your own home allows you to be more relaxed and enjoy the session-no need to pack up baby into the car or pack bags for your session. I come to you!
