Coffee has become a ubiquitous part of modern life. There are coffee shops on every street corner. Vancouver, WA, is no exception, with plenty of options for caffeine seekers looking for a cozy place to sit and sip their brew.

Compass Coffee

It is located in the heart of downtown Vancouver. Compass Coffee is a community-focused café that prides itself on its commitment to quality and excellent customer service. In addition, the atmosphere here is warm and welcoming, with comfortable seating and plenty of natural light.

Fun fact, the family photographed in this blog is enjoying some time with one another in Compass Coffee! As a Vancouver, Washington family photographer, I love this location for warming up after outdoor winter family photos!

Compass Coffee sources its beans from local roasters and offers a wide range of coffee drinks, which include lattes, cappuccinos, and pour-over coffee.

This is hands down, one of my fav coffee shops in Vancouver Wa!

Relevant Coffee

Relevant Coffee is located in the trendy Uptown Village neighborhood. Moreover, it is a small, minimalist café serving some of the best coffee in town.

The shop’s simple, no-frills aesthetic belies the complexity of its coffee offerings, which include pour-over and French press coffee. Also, its baristas are knowledgeable and passionate about their craft.

Further, the café also offers a small selection of pastries and baked goods.

Relevant has become a staple to the historic Arnada and Hough community.

Paper Tiger Roasters

If you’re looking for artisanal coffee roasted on-site, Paper Tiger Coffee Roasters is the place to go. This small-batch roastery and coffee shop is located in the historic Arnada neighborhood, and its coffee is some of the best in town.

Paper Tiger is set apart by its commitment to the community. They spend time working with students from school for the blind and school for the deaf in Washington. Additionally, members of their staff use American sign language and have been recognized by the city, state, and county for their work in inclusion.

The shop’s minimalist aesthetic and friendly baristas make it a great place to relax and enjoy coffee.

Torque Coffee Roasters

Torque Coffee Roasters is a local coffee roastery that takes pride in its commitment to quality and sustainability. The shop sources its beans directly from farmers and roasts them in-house, resulting in a range of delicious and unique coffee offerings.

In addition to its excellent coffee, Torque also offers a small food menu that includes breakfast sandwiches and pastries.

Torque Coffee Roasters is also committed to sustainability and reducing carbon emissions. Further, for every order placed, they will plant trees in areas needing reforestation. 

The shop also partners with local organizations to promote sustainable coffee farming practices worldwide.

Kafiex Roasters

Kafiex Coffee Shop is a locally owned and operated café specializing in artisanal coffee and tea. Located in downtown Vancouver, this cozy coffee shop offers a range of espresso drinks, pour-over coffee, loose-leaf teas, and a small food menu that includes sandwiches and pastries.

What sets Kafiex apart is its commitment to quality and sustainability.

The café sources its coffee beans from sustainable and ethical sources, and its loose-leaf teas are organic and fair trade while empowering women and educating the public about the incredible journey of coffee from farm to cup.

The shop’s sleek and modern interior and cozy seating area make it a great place to relax and enjoy coffee.

Presso Coffee Shop

A small, locally owned café that specializes in artisanal coffee and pastries. This cozy coffee shop offers a range of espresso drinks, pour-over coffee, drip coffee, and a selection of teas and hot chocolate.

The café’s interior is modern and welcoming with a fun, feminine vibe. The shop also offers a small menu of croissants, muffins, and other sweet treats.

The café and its friendly staff are passionate about coffee and committed to providing excellent customer service.

Krays Coffee Shop

Krays Coffee Shop is a family-owned and operated café that specializes in artisanal coffee and food. A modern, cozy coffee shop that offers a range of espresso drinks, pour-over coffee, and drip coffee, as well as a selection of teas and smoothies.

The café’s interior is warm, inviting, and fun, mixing cozy seating, communal tables, and swing chairs! Free Wi-Fi is available for customers, making it a great spot to work or study.

The shop also offers a full menu of breakfast burritos, sandwiches, salads, and other tasty treats.

Thatchers Coffee

Thatcher’s Coffee Shop is a locally owned and operated café that serves artisanal coffee and tea.

Located in the downtown area of Vancouver, this cozy coffee shop offers a range of espresso drinks, pour-over coffee, tea, and a small selection of baked goods and snacks.

The café’s interior is bright and modern, with plenty of natural light and comfortable seating.

Free Wi-Fi is available for customers, making it a great spot to work or study.

Thatcher’s also has a small outdoor patio area, perfect for enjoying coffee on a sunny day.

The shop sources its coffee beans from ethical and sustainable sources, and its tea is organic and fair trade. Thatcher’s also uses compostable cups and eco-friendly packaging, making it an excellent choice for environmentally-conscious coffee drinkers.

Gold Cup Coffee

When you enter Gold Cup Coffee, you’ll be greeted by the warm, modern, and inviting atmosphere. The café has a cozy feel with a mix of seating options, including plush armchairs and communal tables.

They offer a variety of house-roasted season coffee and sandwiches made by our restaurant, from pastries to mouthwatering sandwiches. My personal favorite is the avocado toast on gluten-free bread; it is delicious! This is one of my go-to’s for one of the most delightful coffee shops in Vancouver, Wa.

The baristas are knowledgeable and passionate about coffee, and they take the time to craft each drink to perfection. You can be sure it will be made with care and attention to detail.

This is a great place to stay connected with their free WiFi while you enjoy your coffee or visit with a friend. 

River Maiden

River Maiden started its journey in 2002 at the Vancouver Farmers Market. Now located in a warm and welcoming coffee shop just off Mill Plain, you will find comfortable seating with a selection of pastries, sandwiches, and salads.

All the food is made in-house with fresh, locally sourced ingredients, and their menu sets this coffee shop apart from others.

Devs Coffee Bar

Calling all coffee, bagel, & Sasquatch lovers! Located in Battleground Washington, right on Main Street is Devs coffee bar. Family owned and operated, this café has a rustic feel with hardwood floors and a mix of seating options including cozy armchairs, communal tables, and bar seating.

Upon entering, you will enjoy the Sasquatch theme throughout this vintage church turned into a coffee shop. The bagels are one of a kind, and the coffee is exceptional!

With free Wifi and comfortable seating, you will enjoy catching up with friends or getting a few hours of work done while you sip on a delicious coffee.

Super kid friendly and has a fun theme. They believe Sasquatch is real! Do you?
